You Win, Twitter!

Twitter_icon_by_aleandrosI guess there’s no fighting it anymore. I’ve always resisted Twitter because I just don’t understand it at a basic molecular level. To me it’s always seemed like a stunted kind of e-mail that’s mostly used by strangers to tell each other what kind of sandwich they ate for lunch. Why sharing that kind of meaningless trivia is important to anybody continues to baffle me. Nevertheless, tweeting seems to be an increasingly ubiquitous social communications media, so the Alpha now has it’s own twitter feed ( @screamingalpha ).

I’ve got a service set up to automatically send a tweet when each new post hits the site, so if you’re not into RSS you can follow the Alpha via Twitter. Just check out the link on the sidebar. I can’t promise any more content than the automatic updates for now, but if I really get into it, who knows? Feel free to send me tweets if you want to encourage me to use the service or e-mail or comment if you think this is a dumb idea. I’m genuinely curious to see if this expands my audience onto a new platform or is just a waste of time. Let’s all find out together, eh?
