Video Interview: Mantic Games, Gen Con 2009

Submitted by John Price on Friday, 21 August 2009No Comment

ronnieI had seen some traffic on TMP about Mantic Games, a new miniatures company just starting up in the UK. They plan to join the recent movement towards affordable multipart plastic minis that seems to be gaining more and more traction in the hobby. Their launch product line is called Kings of War, and focuses on 28mm fantasy elves.

The level of detail is quite good on casual inspection, and they certainly do deliver value for money. Whether they will be accepted by the fantasy wargamers who are obvioulsy Mantic’s target market is a bit of an open question.

Mantic has been good enough to promise me some review minis, so expect some more detailed coverage in the weeks ahead.
