Closeup Video of Malifaux Swamp Demo Table, Gen Con 2009

Submitted by John Price on Tuesday, 18 August 20093 Comments

swamp demoWyrd really pulled out all the stops for Gen Con 2009. They brought two amazing demo tables to show off their newly-released Malifaux game and its’ incredible minis. The mining town table was impressive (look for the video here) , but the swamp board took things to a whole other level.

Centered around a giant tree, the board featured a suspension bridge, brilliant use of water effects all around the base of the tree, a spooky cave, and even a bayou version of Baba Yaga’s famous Dancing Hut. Sadly, I didn’t get to play on it, but just getting to see it was inspirational.

For more information about Malifaux, check out Wyrd’s website.
