Medic!

Submitted by John Price on Friday, 3 July 20092 Comments

medicSorry it’s been so quiet around here this week. I’ve been suffering a terrible outbreak of what I now suspect to be allergy-related hives. The constant itching has made it tough to concentrate on writing, painting, photography, or much of anything else! I think I’m on the road to recovery now, and I have every intention of getting an update up today, but it may well be tomorrow or Sunday. My most profound apologies.

Oh, and viva Tiger Balm! If you haven’t tried this all-natural wonder from China (I think), you really should. It smells to high heaven of wintergreen, but it can’t be beat for releving muscle or joint pain (the reason why it’s in my medicine cabinet). It turns out it’s also a Number One itch fighter. Just keep it away from your genitals, as it burns like a holy terror if you happen to get any on there.

That’s a drawback from being connected to a hive mind.

Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. Get well soon! With tiger balm helping with almost anything, you should be healthy in no time.

Lousy Finns and their sparkling wordplay! :)
Thanks for the good wishes, Mikko. I’m on the mend now and finally getting back to the workbench to catch up on the mountain of stuff I’ve let slide this last week or so.
