Future’s so bright, I have to wear shades!
I thought the Alpha’s loyal readership might like a peek into the site’s future, so here are a few things to look forward to, starting with some upcoming reviews. I will likely be sticking to my one-a-week schedule for the time being due to othe commitments, but there’s always the possiblity these may get cranked out faster if the muse really strikes. As an aside, the Alpha is always interested in new review ideas, so if you have a favorite to reccomend or you’re a manufacturer who’s like to see their product reviewed here, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
- UPDATE! A Review of Warm Acre’s upcoming release of No-Go Zone, a cops-versus-streetpunk battle game with some interesting new mechanics and it’s own line of minis.
- An in-depth look at one of the great Roaring Twenties resin cars from Blue Moon (NOW PUBLISHED!)
- An interesting pack of low-cost zombies from MegaMinis (NOW PUBLISHED!)
- A bunch of rednecks from the always-interesting folks at West Wind (NOW PUBLISHED!)
- The Twilight Streets Heroic Scale set of cardstock buildings from Microtactix
- A terrific set of zombies from Zombiesmith (NOW PUBLISHED!)
- Several blasts from the past in the form of resin terrain from longtime favorite Armorcast
- And of course loads more zombies
Observant readers may have noticed how often zombies show up on that list. Well, first I really dig zombies, and have a zombie apocalypse RPG campaign in the planning stages. More than thatm however, my long term goal is to create the Master Zombie Database, complete with scale comparison pictures and reviews of every maker of 25/28mm zombie minis I can get samples for. From what I’ve seen there is a lot of interest out there for a resource like this, so I’ve decided to make it happen. Props to the endlessly talented Fatgobin for giving me the idea.
I have more in store, but that should give you a taste of what the future holds. Thanks for reading!
