Thanks, Chris. The kind words mean a lot. There's no question that there are a lot more great companies out there, but I tried to focus on stuff from makers I actually have in my collection. Believe me, I'd love to have some Pulp Figures and Artizan stuff especially. Maybe if the site prospers I can get 'em to send me some review samples...

I still need to try .45 Adventures. I've heard nothing but good things about it, and I love pulp-era stuff. I may have to move it up my list.

Love the write-up, but there so much more out there that you could highlight. Copplestone Castings is putting some incredible figures, as is Pulp Figures, Artizan Designs, and Brigade Games.

As a side note, I'm a former role-player who had a long, rocky relationship with GW before finally throwing in the towel. These days I preach to other gamers about the joys of indie miniatures and game systems such as Legends of the Old West, .45 Adventures, and Contemptible Little Armies. The joy of focusing on painting up small groups of gangsters and brigands to skirmish with puts the grind of assembling 150 costly Imperial Guardsmen into perspective.

Keep up the good work!
